 Captain Phil’s Crystal River fishing guide service provides all bait, tackle, rods, reels, fishing licenses and cooler with ice. You should bring your own drinks, polarized sunglasses, and camera.

About the Fishing Charter

Captain Phil Rae has been fishing the Crystal River and Ozello backwaters for 10 years. Your fishing charter captain is a licensed US Coast Guard Master Captain. We fish the flats on an 18ft Action Craft with a poling platform and a 125 horse Mercury. The fishing tackle is all Shimano Stradic reels with matching rods. We fish with live bait, plugs or jigs.  

Crystal River and Ozello are some of the most productive Redfish and Trout waters in Florida. Experience sight fishing at it’s best. The waters around Crystal River are so clear, you will be able to hunt and see the fish before you cast at them.
